Friends of the Belmont Council on Aging
What is "The Friends of the Belmont Council on Aging"?

For seniors in Belmont the issue of finding the best possible solution for a permanent senior center is critical. Seniors are also participating in and benefiting by programs and services provided by the Council on Aging in increasing numbers. It is, therefore, no surprise that the prospect of a wonderful senior center and an array of high quality programs and services cost money. Since the Town has limited funds for capital projects and budget cuts are expected for next year and beyond it is imperative that funds be raised privately. The Friends of the Belmont Council on Aging is a non-profit organization that acts as a support and fund-raising entity for the programs of the COA and senior center. Comprised of business people, young and older adults who care about the well being of older people in this community, the Friends organization seeks members and contributors. Currently a membership drive is underway. The Friends organization needs you! Please call Nava Niv-Vogel at 617-993 2975 or e-mail at nnivvogel@belmon-.ma.gov if you are interested in contributing and/or to sign up for a committee. With your help we can accomplish our goals!
